We are a full service (design to installation) custom wood shop located in the northeast corner of Washington state in the foot of the Rocky Mountains.

I started the business in 2000 after I retired with 23 years in the US Coast Guard. I have been working with wood since my father got me interested at around age 8. I was fascinated with the incredible colors and grain patterns in wood. I've always used the wood to "tell me" how best it should be used. Using natures color to add character and personality to a piece is what I find most challenging and most rewarding. My website has projects I've done that show off the incredible things nature can do.

I enjoy the outdoors a lot. My shop is located on a 20 acre spot in the forest. The views from my windows are incredible. This provides me a lot of stress reduction and enables me to focus more on being creative. If I stumble during a design or building process, I look outside and that really settles me down and I can get back to work.

I love to travel, hike, fish, hunt and ride my 4-wheeler around. Getting outside helps me to recharge my batteries and take a fresh new look at things.

I strive very hard to work with clients to come up with something that is totally unique and personal, just for them. There is plenty of mass produced stuff out there in the market today. I believe people desire more then that. People are unique. People are individuals. People have their own likes and dislikes. Why force them to assimilate and mass produce something that is not them. That's what differentiates me from the pack. Unique and personalized projects the meet your wants, desires, specifications and budget. Why should you have to compromise on something you are going to live with for years to come? I don't think you should have to.
