We offer access to an Ultimaker 3d Printer for quick affordable prototyping using ABS & PLA with object size 210 x 210 x 220mm (x,y,z).

We have a HP Designjet 3d Colour Printer which uses ABS Plastic for finer resolution models in a variety of colours and object size 203 x 203 x 152mm (x,y,z).

We offer small scale vacuum forming using a Clarke Vacuum Forming Machine which forms thermoplastics over a tool or object to create packaging or moulds. Materials include Styrene or other thermoplastics and the maximum size is 228x432mm. Maximum material thickness 6mm. Maximum mould height 140mm.

We offer a range of CNC Machining including small scale fine resolution cutting or engraving of flat sheet materials, 3d cutting from top surface of block materials including Plywood, MDF, Softwoods, Hardwood, Acetal, Nylon, Aluminium of a maximum size 1000x900mm using our High-Z S-1000-T Router with T Slot Table.

We also have a large bed 1200x2400mm CNC Router Table with vacuum table for cutting or engraving of flat sheet materials, 3d cutting from top surface of block materials with up to a 160mm Z Clearance including Plywood, MDF, Softwoods, Hardwood, Acetal, Nylon, Aluminium.

We can also offer CNC Milling using our high precision Roland MDX-40A cutting of flat or block materials, from top down. 3d Cutting via Rotary axis or Self-centering Vice and using materials including Necuron, Jewellery Wax, Acetal and Engraving on Brass, Silver etc.

We offer two laser cutting & engraving machines suitable for cutting a variety of materials. For finer detailed work, we can offer the GCC Laserpro Spirit Laser Engraving machines which can handle 5mm Perspex, 5mm Acrylic, Paper, Mount Board, Leather, Textiles, Laser Rubber, Laserable Plywood, Laserable MDF and Anodised Metals or Thermarked Metals (etch only) with a 640x460mm working area. 740x460mm extended mode (vector only.) 200mm Max Height.

We also have a larger Studiolaser 1290-120 100W Laser engraving / cutting machine which ha a larger 1200x900mm working area and pass through in Y axis for larger linear elements.

We offer a range of hand and power tools for finishing digitally fabricated parts, ranging from saws, files, clamps and space for painting. We have a variety of offsite partners who can offer finishing from powder coating to spray booth finishing .

We keep a stock of hardwood, softwood, wood based panels, plastics and metals for use by members and visitors alike.

Through our offsite partners, we can offer a variety of screen printing techniques and services.
