OpMaat is a Company located near the inner City of Groningen. With a crew of 8 to 10 man and women we produce custom-made furniture and interiors for a broad range of customers. Most of it is designed in our own Design Studio, but in several projects we collaborate with designers and architects. With our CNC-router we try to be as innovative as possible by combining new designer- and maker software with inspiring concepts. In that line we are also developing several coproductions with young designers, for example: sketch-furniture and story-furniture. FabLab Groningen was one of our initiatives.That is where we do our prototyping. www.opmaat.com
