We use a cold spray metal application that is a real metal coating in use world-wide as an architectural and industrial coating. It is a well-proven, tough, and beautiful coating that gives the look of cast metal without the limitations. The metal coating is not paint and is not a plating. It is 95% metal and, if left without a clear coat it will tarnish like real metal. Once the coating is applied to virtually any substrate/surface, we work with it to provide a polished and/or antiqued finish the way a foundry would have to work with metal. If left without a clear coating it will tarnish or patina the same as any metal left uncoated.
